The Missing Turtle
Scene 1: Surfing Lessons
The sun shines brightly over the crystal-blue waters of ShibaVille’s shores. Gentle waves roll onto the beach as Funa, the sea-loving Shiba with his mighty trident, stands confidently on the back of his large, loyal turtle.
Funa: “Alright, Aki, balance is key. Feel the rhythm of the waves. Let the water guide you.”
Aki, the young and energetic girl with a knack for origami magic, wobbles slightly on her own turtle.
Aki (laughing): “Easier said than done! The water has a mind of its own!”
Funa (grinning): “That’s the point. You have to tuneinto it.”
Funa demonstrates his turtle-riding craft tirelessly so Aki can observe and learn. After a while, they get tired and ride their turtles back to shore, stretching out on the warm sand. The sound of the waves and the salty breeze quickly take them into a peaceful nap. The turtles, too, close their eyes, resting beside them.
Scene 2: A Sinister Plan
Not far from the shore, hidden behind a large boulder, General Yuki, the silver-furred mastermind, whispers to his massive but simple-minded assistant, Big Yama.
General Yuki (grinning): “That big turtle is the key to getting Funa’s Sea Crystal. Without the crystal, his powers are as good as useless.”
Yuki scatters a line of turtle food leading toward a concealed cage.
Big Yama (scratching his head): “But, Boss, why not just take the crystal from him?”
General Yuki (rolling his eyes): “Because, you oversized furball, he won’t just hand it over. But if we have something he cherishes… well, he’ll have no choice.”
Just as they finish setting up, the turtle stirs. Yuki and Yama quickly dive behind a thick bush, peeking out as their plan unfolds.
Scene 3: The Baited Trap
Funa’s turtle blinks awake, stretching its flippers before noticing the neatly placed food in front of it.
Turtle (thinking): “Well, don’t mind if I do.”
Oblivious to the danger, the turtle slowly munches its way down the food trail, step by step, inching closer to the trap.
Near the end of the line, Yuki extends a wooden fake female turtle on a stick through the bush, wiggling it temptingly.
General Yuki (in a high-pitched voice): “Oh, what a handsome, strong turtle you are!”
The turtle tilts its head, utterly captivated. As it moves toward the “lady turtle,” Big Yama drops the cage. The bars slam shut with force.
Big Yama: “Haaaa! Got ‘em!”
Yuki grins, patting his assistant’s back.
General Yuki: “Perfect. Now, let’s wait for Funa to wake up.”
Scene 4: The Discovery
Funa stirs and stretches, feeling the warmth of the sun. His eyes lazily scan the shore—then widen in panic.
Funa: “Where’s my turtle?!”
He rushes toward the water, calling out telepathically to his ocean friends. Moments later, two dolphins and a whale surface.
Dolphin #1: “We saw nothing, friend.”
Whale (somberly): “The sea is quiet… something is wrong.”
Determined, Funa ventures closer to the bushes, his grip tightening around his trident. Suddenly, General Yuki and Big Yama step out from hiding, holding up the cage with the trapped turtle.
General Yuki (mocking): “Looking for this?”
Funa’s eyes blaze with fury.
Scene 5: The Double Trap
Funa acts on instinct, lunging at Big Yama with his trident. But just as he attacks, Yuki smirks and yanks on a hidden rope. A second cage, suspended in the trees, drops onto Funa with a loud clang!
Funa (grinding his teeth): “You planned this?!”
General Yuki (laughing villainously): “Of course I did! And before you get any ideas, that cage is reinforced against your powers. No water magic for you today…”
Funa struggles, his trident’s energy useless against the enchanted metal.
Scene 6: The Betrayal
Yuki steps forward, placing a hand against the bars.
General Yuki (grinning): “Here’s the deal: hand over the Sea Crystal, and I promise to release your precious turtle unharmed.”
Funa hesitates. Without the crystal, he would be powerless. But his turtle was like family to him…
With no other choice, he removes the glowing blue crystal from his trident and hands it over. Yuki snatches it greedily, holding it up like a precious prize.
General Yuki: “Finally! With this power, I will…”
His celebration is cut short as he notices Big Yama trying to unlock the turtle’s cage.
General Yuki: “What are you doing, you fool?! We aren’tactually going to let the turtle go!”
Big Yama (blinking): “But you told Funa we will…”
General Yuki: “IT WAS A TRICK!”
Funa’s heart sinks. He’s been completely outplayed.
Scene 7: A Taste of Their Own Trickery
Aki, who had woken up and followed the trail, arrives just in time to see the fake female turtle discarded on the ground.
Aki (muttering): “Oh, I see how it is… Time to turn the tables.”
She folds a piece of paper, and in a flash of magic, a female origami version of Big Yama appears.
Origami Big Yama (in a soft, loving voice): “Oh, Yama~!”
Big Yama’s eyes widen…
Big Yama: “Pretty lady!”
He drops the turtle’s cage and sprints toward the origami figure with open arms. The cage smashes open, freeing the turtle, who immediately bites Yuki’s foot.
General Yuki: “AAAAAAH! YOU STUPID TURTLE!”
As the turtle bites his foot, the Sea Crystal flies from Yuki’s grip—right back into Funa’s waiting paws.
Scene 8: The Comeback
With Big Yama still distracted and General Yuki hoping around in pain, Aki and the turtle rush towards Funa, using their combined strength to pull up the cage and set him free. Released from the enchanted cage and the Sea Crystal back in his trident, Funa’s energy surges. Water begins swirling around him.
Funa (smirking): “You two should really learn not to mess with the ocean and its inhabitants.”
With a powerful thrust of his trident, a massive wave crashes down, sweeping Yuki and Big Yama off their feet and sending them flying into the distance.
General Yuki (shouting): “I HATE WATER MAGIC!”
As the two villains disappear, Aki grins and pats Funa’sgigantic back.
Aki: “Nice to see you back in action.”
Funa (smiling): “Couldn’t have done it without you.”
The turtle nuzzles against Funa, safe once more. As the waves settle and the sun sets over Shibaville, the three friends share a victorious laugh, knowing that for now, peace has been restored.
